Well today i purchased another one, this is No.2 for me and wait for it - im only 17.
I present to you my 1994 'Softdash' Range Rover Vogue SE, dark blue in color grey interior, ARb front bullbar and rear step bar, full lenght roof rack, converted to coil springs with poly-air springs as-well in the rear. She has electric glass sunroof, elecrtic memory leather seats, 10 stack cd with 10 speaker surround sound all the usual stuff like cruise, elec windows etc 207,000km on the 3.9 and its a 4sp auto
the paint is in gc with a few dents ans scrathes, most of whcih will buff out with a good detail, hte leather is like new as is the carpet she has almost a full service history from LR dealers and specialists and all in all i am very happy with it, there are a few niggling things to fix lik the rattling high mount stop lamp and drivers window but apart from that shes in good cond considering its a 13yr ol 4by.

Mmmmmmmmmmm the soft dash. That is what I would have liked instead of my 1994 Disco but never found one.
The dash does look very similar to the Disco. The steering wheel looks to be the same as the airbag equipped Disco.

That's very similar to my LSE, but my leather isn't so flash !
I would assume that given the year of your vehicle it IS equipped with SRS airbags ? If so, what bar do you actually have because ARB do not list an airbag-approved bar for the Classic Rangie. A conundrum I am trying to solve/ get around. Perhaps your vehcile has a non-approved bar fitted ? Could you look and see if there are any crush cans mounting it to the chassis ? Thanks heaps.\
And lads the reason it looks like a Disco dash is that it IS one. Appeared on the Disco first I think, then the Rangie. It's better though coz we Rangie owners get extra switches like dual zone air con and air suspension and stuff.

It looks like the frame is the same but the padded bits look more padded and squared off. The passenger air bag cover in particular.

its not identical no, very similar yes, for a start it doent have the 'jesus' bar on the passengers side and a few other things are slighty different
ill have a look over the bullbar when i get a chance for you, ive been told its an arb one but the shape in some areas appear differnt, more rounded and not as depp,
ill have a look for you.

Neither did the dual airbag equipped Disco ;)

Maybe it is an SRS compatible Disco bull bar? Although it doesn't look like one.

I do like these Rangies and would love to mod one just to be different. Leather seats and all the goodies plus decent ****ing air con is a big bonus (mate has a tdi Disco and I'm not a huge Disco fan but I do like his air con. Soft dash Rangies are the same).
Hope you got it for the right price, most I've seen for around the $10-14K mark but some I have seen even cheaper

Well done young Ryan.
Did you get it from Kallangur? It looks like one I have seen on carsales for some time, they were selling unreg. If the same one, did you need much for safety cert?

My understnding is that the whole dash was lifted from the Honda legend/Rover Vitesse twins and was designed by Honda..
BUT of course executed by Rover , hence the heater leaks.
