I'll be at Coolangatta on Wed night (staying at Greenmount Beach Resort).
Perhaps one of you local lads or ladettes can tell me where's a good place for a bloke to get dinner. I'll be on my Pat Malone so 'romantic setting' is NOT a pre-requisite !
Cheers

If you do'nt mind a 5 min Drive, there's a nice little Italian place at palm beach, 5th Avenue, just off the main drag.....De-La Parilla, really nice, authentic food, familly owned , and very reasonable on the wallet. We found it whem we stayed at Currumbin Beach,
Could give it a try.....
Cheers,

you better give me a call, although a dinner date with you would have people talking, but a beer or two might be in order.

sounds like some one's on a junket, or have you move to coast watch - performing watch duty from the spa/bar.

It's only a mini-junket. Just overnight.

When looking for somwhere to eat at the beach I normally hide in the bushes above the beach with my fish n chips in the pocket of my raincoat and check out the, errr, scenery, but maybe its just me??;)

I thought a paper bag of boiled lollies was the traditional foodstuff associated with the raincoat?
