Are there any backyard workshops we should give a try.

There is an auto TD5 Disco for sale here here in Gympie - asking price is $18,500. Dont know what year it is but looks like a tidy vehicle.

All depends on how much you want to spend
There is alot of differance in price between a D1 and a Defender (even fgor the same year) the Defender will be alot more than the D1

It might be worth,getting on to Incisor as he has his 96 disco 1 auto for sale for a good price, it's a very nice vehicle and has been well cared for and serviced.;)

Yep same story in europe, we can spend up to 15.000$
