One of my brothers is emigrating to Perth in a few months with his family and will be looking for a 4wd to sort out for trips. He isn't that fussy, he is willing to consider pretty well anything. he is a time served Diesel Mechanic and can do all the mechanical stuff required. Can anyone advise on what late 80's and early 90's 4wds go for in that area. Had a look on the web but most of thhe stuff is on dealer sites and he will want something from a private sale or similar (i.e. cheap and cheerful). Ideally, he is after a early 90's Discovery or Rangie. Any advice gladly received.:D

I wish this had come up earlier - it's in Perth

I'm tempted to tell my daughter to buy it.

That is a nice looking vehicle. I left a comment on there yesterday saying that it should sell without any trouble.

As much as I'd like it for my daughter, it would be getting away from the reason for buying the really basic 300Tdi Disco (a diesel with virtually no electronics) for use in a remote area of WA, especially as she will be moving to Fitzroy Crossing later in the year.

If it was in Sydney, I'd look at it for myself.

its called google

type in cars or if you want to be more specific 4wd or even better Land Rover

then Perth WA

then search

presto all the cars for sale from commercial yards in Perth are revealed

if you want private sales

google (gets easier more you do it)

quokka

cars or 4wd

or

ebay

restrict search to 100kms from Perth WA

hope he finds what he wants
