If you know the name of the paint colour - the paint shop should be able to look up the colour mix and mix it. I wanted to change the colour of my jag from black to signal red and I didn't know the paint code - the paint shop went to a book looked up jaguar, signal red and said there are two diffent mixes for that name - one from the early 60s and one from the early 70s - the one I wanted is from the 70s and he just used the code in the book to mix the colour - it was spot on.

So if Vintage Red is a proper name for a Range Rover colour you should be able to get the formula.

Is it on the build plate? I remember my 1971 Hillman Hunter had it on the plate as something like TAUB999 (Taubmans and a code number).

I found it!:D
Its has on it, This Car has been Sprayed in Dulon Lacquer or Dulux enamel vintage red.
So i gather i'm better off going for a enamel paint?

I'm Gunna just wet dry most of it as the bodys in really good nick, Looks like its been sprayed before as the top color red is different than the one under it,
The bonnets the main problem looks like its got a fine coat of filler over it??
and some of its lifted..
