Number of posts

Hey All

Does anyone know if you total posts goes down if a thread is deleted? My total number of posts was over 100 (and hence I was a master), but now Im a regular again. Maybe its just me being vain but whats up with that?!

Thread removal happens so rarely,,,

more often the individual offending post is deleted.
my only experience is from the last PURGE,
so taking that into account----

red star fever was the problem,,
we had a whole forum of "I can see stars" posts--
not good,,
and it (in HINDsite;):p) was a smart move on Incs part to cease the practise of awarding stars.

now theres no reason to post unless you have something to contribute,,

In answer to the "original" question ,yes , your count will drop if a thread is deleted,and yes they do get deleted from certain sections ,eg, upcoming events,as it is my section to look after, occasionaly the old threads that are past their use by date are deleted, so if you have contributed vastly to a thread in there (some have made up to ten pages:eek: )expect your count to diminish greatly eventually:twisted:
This is to keep the area uncluttered from old events that have been and gone,and hopefully any trip reports that arise from events are then put in their respective states section , so that anyone who is planing a trip to certain areas can look up the area and get an idea of what to expect.

Now that is quirky in its own rite,as this is already half way into page three(so where is the page three girls????????????)
depending on what settings you have there is an option as to how many posts per page you can view ,mine is set at twenty per page,hence already page three,others have them set at ten,so this would be page seven for them,get the picture:cool: :eek:
