Why do I get the impression you are refering to me Mr DirtyDawg:D :D :D :D :D :D
You are the weakest link,or is that the missing link,Ive seen you drag your knuckles:D :D :D
We are going to be a bit short of$$$ for a month or 2,will be looking forward to trying the Rangie out.
Baz is always keen to get out,he is working away at the moment.
Unfortunately we arent allowed into the gravel pit anymore, all locked up due to tip fires and insurance issues.I can ask when I go back to work but doubt they will let us in.
Baz and I have been wanting to get out and check a powerline track out nearby that could be good.We already did a run on the northern end with some BlackStumpers a few years ago.It wasnt quite the Kalamunda setup, the southern bit could be better.I cant get google eart on this dinosaur(windows98) If you look for it it crosses Albany Hwy near Halfway House roadhouse. We did the bit between Pinjarra/Williams rd and Albany Hwy.We want to poke around south of the Pinjarra/Williams down to the Murray river.

I'm off to Kalbarri this week (testing out the home-made camper), but might be interested in a trip in May?

I'd be keen on a day or weekend away somewhere in May too. Workload should have finally settled down by then...

1st weekend in May would be good for me.
3rd weekend we are theoretically heading off to Dwellingup camping so that could be an option too.

This is what I'm going to be doing in August.
Australian Safari 2007
http://www.westernaustralia.com/a2/multimedia/WATC/9009243LLFAustralianSafariL.JPGThe Australian Safari held from August 24 to September 1, 2007 is one of the world's most challenging cross country rallies. It can rightly be referred to as the 'Paris to Dakar' of the Southern Hemisphere and like that epic adventure invites participants in cars, motor bikes and quads.
The Australian Safari has two distinct categories: a 'competition' category and an 'adventure tour' category. The start and finish lines are the same but you decide whether to go hard, or just go for the fun of it. The nine day safari will take place across approximately 5500 kilometres of spectacular Western Australian outback. It all begins in the Kimberly region at Kununurra, continuing through Fitzroy Crossing, on to Broome with the final checkpoint on the coast at Port Hedland. The Australian Safari then plunges back into the wide open interior to the iron mining capital of Newman, continuing on to the Goldfields and the historic town of Kalgoorlie. The final homeward run is through the Wheatbelt and Avon Valley coming to a thrilling conclusion in the vibrant capital city of Perth.
The 2007 Australian Safari will take competitors from the tropics to the outback to the sea! Visit www.australiansafari.com.au for further information.

Hi all,
This has got to be the most last minute of all last minute things I have ever done.
I decided last night with a mate to have a look at the Mundairing powerline track today. All the recent rain should make it interesting but its by no means going to be an extreme day out.
Id love for anyone at a loose end to come along.
Meeting at Mundairing Post Office at 9AM, 9.30AM sharp depart.
We take in both the pwerline track and wandoo woodlands which is an easier bush track out to York.
Be self sufficient for food and water, be prepared for more rain and to have some fun.
Neither of our vehicles are set up for the Camel Trophy so it will be conservative with folk trying only what they are comfortble with and driving around the rest.
Sorry aboiut the late notice.

Well the general conscientious is may..now sand or mud or back down to Harvey or a team explore of LandyAndys New Powerlines...
As for those who want nothing too rough there generally is a track around the obstacles for those with double wishbone coil over shocks (Prados);)

Hi Richard

Andrew
Spectating.:) Doing a 4 night campout. Going to Meekatharra and following from there to Kalgoorlie. A couple of the blokes I'm going with have done the event a few years ago on Bikes and Sidecar, so they are looking forward to relaxing this time (excuse to get drunk and run amok) . Will be taking the Defender so if anyone else is there say g'day.
Discokid, will keep an eye out for you and give you a big cheer as you go past.
Cheers Richard aka Tyrepower
