I suppose I should raise this with Inc. first but I wonder if it is time to have a tech section on AULRO.COM - I don't mean a tech forum but a place where tech articles can be placed so that we don't have to search the forum for them.
Three examples come to mind:
Blknight.aus article on repairing hydraulic jacks
Converting greased wheel bearings to oil-fed
Langy's article changing from Disco ZRotoflex coupling to a conventional UJI'm sure there are more.

i thought we had a projects or tutorials section (http://www.aulro.com/afvb/forumdisplay.php?f=126) ?
i am in the process of setting up a better files area that may be usefull for putting pdf's of tutorials in if that is more towrds what you are wanting?

Yes, I had looked at that. I was thinking more like, as you say, a diles area. Or even something where I could, say, write a page like I have done on www.rangerovers.net (http://www.rangerovers.net), e.g., http://www.rangerovers.net/repairdetails/lcdlights.html
or
http://www.rangerovers.net/repairdetails/electrical/fusebox.html
One big advantage of the Projects and Tutorials section is that people can easliy comment on a procedure. Maybe one could link from there to the pages written in HTML.
The big disadvantage of HTML is that it take a lot more work and not everyone can do it.

Another option is the files section. if they are turned into a PDF, or a word file that can be converted or put in a zip file, we could have such an area. the newsletter was where a lot of those articles went (which reminds me, i'm still having trouble uploading them).
I could certainly clip down the tech articles from the newsletters past to just the technical article to upload.
