some time back I put up a post about pulling the body off of my Disco and putting a series III ute on it.
But after looking at that and the fact that a 110 has a much stronger drive train I think that would be a better way to go

Come and have a look at it mate.....it's straight and clean (no rust).
Make a good project base.
I dont want what I paid for it. It needs a fuel system....was on straight gas but I stripped it out. I have converted it to vent flaps instead of dash air con.
Sorry Reads.......Hijackin yer thread.

I don't want the engine and box, but depends what you want for it, what i want to make is a 110/130 king cab chassis for a work truck.

I have converted a V8 County wagon to a ute using a Defender hardtop rear tub and a Defender ute cab. It all bolts straight on and can be done for about $1000 (plus the wagon to start with) if you do it yourself. Its now about 250 kg lighter than it was in wagon form......
Cab roof and back - $750
Defender rear tub - $750
Drop down tailgate ex Series 3 - $45
Sale of wagon rear body section and roof - ($550)
The only drawback is that the seats dont really go back quite as far as I would like due to hitting the back of the cab but its still quite comfortable.
