I have been told that I can "isolate" the airbag suspension, on my 1993 RR, so that it does not correct itself (fiddle about) when parking/shutting the door etc. Can anybody tell me how to do that please?

I think it is called "self levelling" & it does little apart from wear out the bags quicker.

Under the drivers seat, near the slider closest to the door, is a rocker switch. This turns the suspension off or on, ie. it locks it into where ever it is at the time, either high or low.

While we're on air suspension, can anyone explain why the suspension isn't turned off when the ignition is off. I don't see any need for this self leveling to occur when your not driving. I find it can be annoying if you park on a slope to find that it will settle overnight and use up the air in the tank. Then you have to wait for it to pump up in the morning.
I'm thinking I might run the off/on switch via the ignition .

When you stop/ park, press the middle switch, which has a pic of a wheel with a cross through it, which should retain the vehicle at it's present position until it is pressed again. This applies to RRC and P38a.
