Recovery Points P38 Range Rover

A mate has got a P38 and is looking for advice regarding fitting of good recovery points to this model.

I'll pass along any advice people are willing to offer.

I have a RRC but I think recover point advise would suit any vehicle.

What I done:

Bought x4 recovery hooks about $20 each, two front and back.
Cut some 10mm steel bar and put a strip either side of the chassis.
Drilled holes through the bar and chasis then put two hight tensile bolts through the hooks, chasis and 10mm plate.

If that's confusing it's :
Recovery hook > 10mm plate > chassis < 10mm plate
Then x2 HT bolts through the lot.

If you wanted it stronger again you could put anti-crush tubes in the chassis but I thought it was strong enough as is.
One point to look for is the laws in your state regarding drilling your chassis.
