Well sunday was a busy day with the wife doing the mothers day thing i was left alone to play without getting disturbed:cool:

1 st- pic cut out with a jigsaw with a metal cutting blade

2 nd- pic of the reverse side with the outline for the heater vent cut out

3 rd- pic of the off cuts mmm what am i going to do with these , i know rear quarter pannel bling see the template i made

oh and i used a flap disc on my 4" grinder to take all the sharp edges off

How did you roll the front of them, or did you cut them short....

I used rivets to attach them to the gaurds , and i used a folder on the front to follow the contour at the front of the gaurd , used the folder in two places to follow the curve , They look good i had them powder coated black to reduce the glare:D

I can say that they're strong enough to hold a big bloke like me while trying to throw a rope across a river:)

Hmm, probably should of done the powder coating to mine... propeller aluminium is sooo shiny! And really really makes me regret loosing my sun glasses!!

Anyway... Where are the photos from the weekend chris!

Oh i don't know i have seen some really big blokes stand on them, i have used mine many a time to stop my feet getting wet , when stuck in mud and water:)

I had a bloke next to me at the camp site at ayres rock looking at mine and then the next day when my misses was stadning on them to get better pics of the sunrise. he came over and said AHHH i was wondering what they were for
