If you reckon Caboolture is in Brisbane then you must work for the same real estate agents that say Coomera and Ormeau are Gold coast and an estate at Maryvale was "close to the Gold Coast".

HOY Coomera and Ormeau are the Gold Coast... the whole green behind the gold thing... only takes me 20mins from coomera to surfers.

Maryvale on the other hand must be at least a 2.5hr drive away and no F'ing way is it anywhere near the GC

The Gold Coast is the strip from Main Beach to the NSW border. It stops about a half mile west of the old Pacific Highway, now the Gold Coast Highway. Anything else was bush or swamp in my youth and is now wetback suburbia. Ormeau, Pimpama, Coomera are not and never were coast. They were country & populated by cockies and now by transplants in brick veneer on pocket handkerchiefs. In the 40's, 50's, 60's, if you had to cross the old Pacific Highway to go to the beach you were not living on the coast.

Apparently Beenleigh and Eagleby are now officially part of the Gold Coast :p:p:p I suppose thats better than being Beenleigh or Eagleby. Congrats Goldcoastians on your new additions. Now we've just got to get rid of logan and we are all good. :D:D:D:D:D
