D2 LPG relacation options

Gday all,,

My old man is looking at a petrol/lpg D2 styleside ute, converted by Brothers Offroad and it has the LPG tank in the tray.
Question is, What options are there to put an LPG tank along side/around/under the petrol tank? Basically get it under the car?

Hi,

If it is this one then it is a D1 not a D2.

For the LPG i know there are options for a scuba tank set up that replaces the Petrol tank, then requiring a qtr panel tank. This would probably mean a couple thousand to set it up.

How much is the guy asking for it privately? as it did not sell when on Ebay.

Ahh yeah,

Quite possibly a D1 then. Ive been told to 'research' for him lol. Yeah, it got to 3.5k on ebay, and not reserve. He is asking for 10k private, but it will most likely need some work, and the tray is useless with the LPG tank in there.

I also have a D1 with very little value that i could cut up to do whatever with, and just looking at what things around the place cost. Is the ute a reasonable car? or just plain to expensive?
