What do I look for to work out the age / model.

Thus far I have these nubmers (engine and the numbers from the plate in the cab under the handthrottle.

PS VIN is Chassis number above the rear spring hanger on the left hand side

Last Letter I can't make out :(

I'll try hit it with the camera, sometimes the flash can make it easier to read.

No rego stickers floating about the place???

I wonder if comparing it to the REMLR registry will give a more accurate indication of age?

I'd say a 1965 model looking at close chassis numbers on REMLR, but i'm not sure how closely related the Chassis numbers in aus and the UK were related in age.

Could well be, I was running from the chassis numbers that we have for army vehicles and when they were made. Beyond that I'm only guessing, although Uncle Ho or one of the others may be able to date it from it's fixtures. No data plates under the bonnet with dates on them?
