Dual battery options for a D3

What is the largest capacity battery that I can fit in the second battery space on a TDV6 SE Discovery?

Yeah! I fitted the Optima. I used the Piranha isolator and they supplied a steel base that simply wouldn't fit. I discovered that there is a horizontal ridge on the base of the second battery space and the Optima slides up against that. You then use the threaded brass inserts to hold down the other side of the battery. I used a bit of light angle with bolts through it. The isolator can fit in the same space behind the battery towards the firewall. The guys at the LR dealer use a slightly bigger and square battery(cheaper) and use 2 of the same threaded inserts with a hold down bar across the top of the battery. They have to cut the tops off the battery posts level with the cable clamps or the lid won't fit on.
