Looks like my Engine Mount rubbers need replacing.
It's a Disco 1996 V8i.

Can anyone advise the easiest way to do this ???

- Had a look and looks very tight for spanners / or socket to get in there to undo the mounting brackets ???
- will try using blocks to jack up the engine from underneath (don't have a hoist handy).

1 take off your viscous and fan
2 undo the nuts. A rachet spanner is the best way.
3 lift the engine . I made a "special tool" of 2 bits of wood in a T shape to sit under the front flange of the sump and onto my trolley jack.
4 pull out the old mounts
5 Struggle for about an hour trying to get the new mounts in. I do not know why the threads are so long. I reckon you could cut about half off each end.
6 make sure that you get nuts with the mounts, as some come with coarse and some with fine thread.
