Ok,

I finally sourced bits for a CDL for my 2002 D2 Td5. (Transfer case, factory knob:D)
I need the cable and bits that goes from the top of the CDL mechanism on the transfer case to the CDL knob in the vehicle. (Does this make sense).

I've been quoted around $200 ex pommyland by Sthside Land Rover, about $300 by Ashcroft Transmission, and drawn blanks everywhere else in Oz.

I don't want an AMV actuator or anything else, and would like it done asap. To get it from England is about a 2/3 week wait apparently, so....

1. Does this sound a reasonable price
2. Is there anywhere else I can source one

All advice and help appreciated,

Surely if you have the CDL mechanism - and the actuator (knob) then all you need is the cable (rigid type) and a few metal brackets.

The metal brackets are easy - either make them yourself, or if you are not that way inclined - get a local workshop to make them.

I made mine - the bracket for the TC end cost $5.00

If you are stuck, send me some pics of your actuator setup, (I already have details of the CDL end) and I will make a few brackets up for you. Of course there will be a fee;)
