TD5 clutch adjustment

My TD5 manual has the cluth engaging very close to the floor. Is there a way of making an adjustment so it engages about half way up.
Dam uncomfortable for the leg when close to the floor

ASFAIK with a hydraulic clutch, when the pedal bottoms out it usually means it's cactus. Others with more ken may know more. How many kays??

Could be a master or slave cylinder that's gone (or it's seals)...?

Cheap/easy fix. Search on the forum and you'll find heaps.

As said above - there isn't any adjustment - they might just need bleeding - or could be a fault in the master or slave.

Check out the less expensive options first ie bleeding, then cylinders - then if all else fails - the clutch itself.

there is one adjustment that can be made but it only sets the height in the up position... you have a failure of one or more of the hydraulic clutch components or worse still the clutch is pretty much FUBAR. (as previously mentioned)

check the fluid, then rebleed and see what happens.

140mm - from bottom of pedal plate to floor.
