Can anyone suggest another source for Disco 200TDI cylinder head.
I just got an EM back from Paddocks advising they no longer stock them.
I suspect my head has gone, probably due a corrosion/fatigue crack.
Has anyone shoe horned a 300TDI into a 93 Disco?
I don't think any attempt to repair a cylinder head that is 14 years old and done 320.000 ks would be very successful

yeah, I thought they were the same head too.
Don't have my lil 'puter with me with the EPC to check.
<edit> whoops, my bad. Of course T/stat housing and injectors are totally different.
Maybe contact Turner Engineering in the UK, they seem to be prominent reconditioners over there about supplying a head ? http://turner-engineering.co.uk/</edit>
<extra edit> from Turners website....
due to unavailability of new cylinder heads, customer's own unit only

They are avail in Oz.......
Cant remember where i saw one, but it was in melb.
Fitting a 300 in a Disco, Not that hard...... you will need a donor car as the g/box is different and the engine sits further forward than the 200.
