Doesn't matter, the transfer case (where the CDL is located) is the same for both vehicles - pretty much.

Try and find yourself a Disco IIa high/low/CDL lever, best option by far although not cheap, dont bother with the eletronic units etc to prone to failure.
The DIIa lever is a simple swap over and can be picked up for around 5-600 depending where you find it, Redback just picked one up a few weeks ago for about 350 i think it was, you might wanna find out where he got it from, might have been from AMV??

Graeme Cooper (www.lrexpert.com.au) at Newtown provides a mechanical (I think) solution to activating the CDL.
Cheers,

I would not have thought it as a mod,,
its how the vehicle SHOULD have been,,
while lockers are the best,,
CDL and TC is pretty close,,
try before you buy,,
lockers are another HUGE question,,,,

no point locking the diffs really unless the CDL can be locked as well. I found CDL made a huge difference, D2 TC is just to slow in most circumstances.
I firstly did the CDL, then 2in lift and 32s that was a huge improvement for offroading, you really notice how little the TC kicks in compared to no CDL. Like that it went most places till i blew my rear diff !! then i took advantage of the situation and went for the rear maxi, another huge improvement :)
That gives me 3 wheels locked and the TC just has to worry about which front wheel isnt moving moving, ive found it gets me almost anywhere. If you got a rear locker you would still only have partial drive to the rear untill the TC applies the front brakes forcing drive to rear.
