Hi everyone.
I've just got Drivesafe's wiring upgrade kit for head and driving lights and intend to start the project this week. To assist in this, and correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't someone recently post some pics showing where they located the relays etc.
It looked like a neat installation and will do mine the same but can't find the thread! I've been trawling through project and tech stuff to no avail.
Any ideas where it is?
Thanks in anticipation.
Alan.

Allan,
The link has quite kindly been posted. Also I mounted the circuit breaker on the clutch master cylinder plate cover. The two lengths of power wire are to short to mount it in the battery box, have to remember to email Drivesafe and suggest he should leave the power wire one length to allow alterante positioning and allow installer to cut to suit.
Thanks Craig. It's the Defender pics I'm after.

Hi Craig, how much longer do you think it should be and I'll make them long in future.

Drivesafe,
I dont think you need to make them longer, just do not cut in two sections leave as 1, just will give a bit of flexibility as to mounting positions and allow installer to cut to size. These are the thick heavy gauge wires supplied. It is no issue and quite fittable, but will just give more options on where to locate the circuit breaker if you decide to mount the relays on the driver side wheel arch. On the passenger side the lengths are fine with no issue and infact you would only need a very short section for one end depending on where you put the ciruit breaker. I had to be different and put mine on the drivers side arch as it affords them more protection there and can be accessed quickly via the panel in the guard. Great kit and working fine, highly recommended.
Also DS what are your thoughts on globe upgrades? Are the Phillips units worth their money?
