Quite impressed with these very 'tidy' set of racks for the Landy.

You just need to move the snorkel forward a little bit... :)

Except if its already fitted that leaves 6 lovely drilled holes in the guard!

is it supposed to be a roll cage or just for a roof storage?

if that rolled wouldn't the legs just punch straight through the bodywork?

Check this PDF out. Looks like there's stuff underneath.

they still look like they just go to floor level.
I thought roll cages for good protection should go to the chasis ?

Either way it looks good.

it does go to chassis... there are above panel and below panel sections, the below panel sections go to the chassis - the NAS designs are about as good as you can get without going to a race spec cage.

the roof rack on the other hand is Fugly in my opinion...

actually It doesn't look too bad without the exo cage :)

put the two together and... um... er... it doesn't work for me...:o

I dunno why anyone would need a rack on top of those exo cages anyway, just strap stuff onto the cage and be done with it :D

Everyone loves a Top Heavy Play toy..............

After selling Camila and Uterising Grommet the handling is great... the lack of weight over the roofline makes a hell of a differance.....

Nothing a good tig welder can't fix.

Agree completely - I turned my IIA from a hardtop into a ute - it made a HUGE difference in stability and visibility offroad.

However, having a roll bar/cage would be beneficial if you are doing really serious stuff. I have been fortunate not to roll yet, but have probably been close of a few occasions. A mate with a 88" IIA almost rolled backwards on a steep hill once!!! Fortunately he was only at the base of the hill, so the landie just sat on the rear wheel carrier (both front wheels completely off the ground!!!
