Hey guys,
messing about with the Rangie I realised that the spare tyre on the original 6 1/2'' Rangie steel rim is a 205 R16 tyre, whereas the vehicle is actually running on the more modern choice of 225/75 R16 tyres with 7" alloys. Consequently the spare tyre/wheel combo is a fair bit smaller in running diameter than the rest of the wheels. I woulddn't want ot have to drive too far with such a size difference on the wheels.
So, has anybody got a spare 225/75 tyre, or 235/70 (I think they were on the mid 90s Discos), or even 245/70 that they don't want lying about the garage or wherever? I would gladly take it off your hands! Condition doesn't matter, as long as it is vaguely roadworthy.
cheers, robg

I have 3 of them that are of decent tread in that size, PM me if you're intersted (they're BFG long trails, about 7mm trad on them as a guess).

Thanks Ken, nice offer...but I guess I would use up the existing tyres just getting there! Still, the trip to WA would charge the battery.....
Trav, I will pm you later.
thanks for your replies gentlemen
