Im off to Falls

well ive organised thurs this week off work and im off to falls. first time out this season and i cant wait. might try and get a pick of the disco up there.

You picked a good time to go. We just got back from a week of boarding at Falls. The snow was excellent and we even got sunny afternoons which makes everything look better.

Saw a couple of Defenders up in the car park, but was amazed at the number of Rangies up there (mostly Sports). They were everywhere.

I was up at Falls for the week during School Hols.

During the day we got a good dump of snow.

well i failed to get a pick of the disco, too busy boarding. i dont think ive ever been on snow that good in my life. actually managed to find some powder, absolutely awesome. :D:D:D

We couldn't believe how "dry" the snow was. You could pick it up like sand and it would run through your fingers. Never seen it like that before at Falls.

And, it was SO much better to be able to ski back to the lodge and take your board off at the front door, compared to last year where there was no snow and you had to wait around for the village bus to pick you up.
