Can anyone recommend a place that does oil sampling in Brisbane. I've found a couple of places but you have to get 10 samples :o

ALS (Australian Laboratory Services)
If you want a basic check, use their E-monitor test, http://www.e-monitor.com.au/ or if you want things like TBN, use their (more expensive) Wear Check analysis.

So they weren't to far from you?

you do realise that a one off test is pretty meaningless unless it picks something major like a coolant leak or a bearing currently self destructing ?
Determining wear trends requires multiple test over a time period.

Yes, I thought I'd look for anything major and do another one in a little while.

I just get ours done once a year year now on everything, then a follow-up if something looks strange and get an independent bloke to interpret.
