I drove home from work last night and back to work this morning on the fuel light ( appro. 60k's) so it begs the question, how many litres are left in the tank once the light comes on ? I did well doing 460 odd k's from half a tank before the light came on.

Yeah that'd be about right for me too- But it would depend on individual float adjustment etc in each car would be a bit different I guess.

You wouldn't want to run it down too much though to avoid sucking through any sediment and gloop from the bottom of the tank.
