I need to find out a few things before commiting on something.

Therefore

What year did ADR's come in?

Were the military exempt from certain ADR's, I have noticed a few examples of ex mil series with exclusions which are compulsary on mine such as lap sash seatbelts?

Presuming the same year 1970's - 1981 what differences if any would there be in relation to ex military vehicles and civilian vehicles in these ADR's. I am considering a replacement ex mil chassis for my Series III and apart from the added advantage of lower suspension points would an ex mil chassis, thus effectivally rebirthing an ex mil 109 have any more advantages for easier registration.

I realise DOTARS have cd's containing ADR's available, how early can do these go and do they govern ex mil.

Mil vehicles had to comply with any and all ADR's they also had to comply with any state road laws as well, (that caused a lot of problems in NSW)
so any mil rover should comply..
