Fabricated new CDL activation

Being a tight **** and not wanting to pay big $$ for a cdl activation set-up i thought i would have a go at making one similar to my hi/low lever. I still have to find a lever boot and gear knob to suit. I'm trying to make it all look as stock as possible.
Any thoughts on the design?

G'day mate,
I got it with the front output housing i bought for the TC conversion, as far as i can tell it's the same as the Hi/Low cable in my D2.
