Fuel prices Melb to Cape York

I'm off to Cape York on the 3rd of Aug. Will be traveling up the Newell Hwy. Just wondering if fuel is more expensive in NSW than Victoria, and if it is cheaper in Qld, vs NSW. Just to plan on where to fill up on the way.

If you have a long range fuel tank fill up in vic , get thru nsw and fill up at goondawindi lots cheaper once you cross the boarder

Brisbane should be the cheapest in the country - a combination of having a refinery and a government who subsidises the fuel will do that for ya!!
