I see by some of your pages many of u have more then one landy, some have as many as six, now how do u get them past the missus and secondly somebody explain why the old landys grab u and dont let go I have them on the brain 24x7 I am always mulling over something or planning something , so why do we love them, I mean they arent particularly attractive and certianly they dont go fast or really handle that well, must be something.

Depends who you ask. For me there is no such thing as enough.
For my poor wife 1 is enough unless your talking about a certain yellow 90 or the nice blue soft top 90:D in which case 2 in enough.

How many?
Hang on, I'll check.
(runs to shed, counts Landies.)
No where near a shed full yet, NOT enough yet.:p
See my shed in "I'm Back" thread.

Ah tis what i thought if u have the room keep dragging themhome, I collect parts rather then hulks, but I am always sniffing for 51 series 1 bits no matter how small, I could probably get one or two more in the yard if I did some major sucking up, parts are ok I canhide these everywhere,

I figure by the time I have the ideal collection I should a series 1 80 in, series 2 109, series 2a 109 and 88 swb, couple ute backs s2a, series 3 109, and series 3 88 and the first model defender 110. This should do me, would probably cost me a divorce but hey thats life.

Isn't it amasing that the "how many are Too many" is determined by the missus.

Remember, the home is their nest, they make it welcoming and beautiful. One must never encroach on their nest with anything...., ever...., at all...., never....., absolutely nothing!!!! except than in the following circumstances....the light is better in the Kitchen and is ideal for all matter of carbie rebuilds etc. Oh and the Fisher & Paykel parts washer is brilliant!!!

One Landy is enough for me, I couldn't afford to have any more, mind you I can barely afford to run one sometimes..that and I have not got the space to keep any more or the time to work on them......
Right, now that there is no one looking over my shoulder....
You can never have enough Land Rovers, they are pack animals and it's unnatural for them to be kept in isolation. Proof if this is when travelling to gatherings, once one is on the road, more hear the call and join the migration....

Very Good point, I'm always looking to upgrade and improve on the car even though I have six million jobs around the house that need completion...

ahhh, jobs around the house suck bags, my wife is irish and wields a bloody great stick but we have this arrangement it goes like this, she has horses and for every dollar she spends on her horses I can spend equivalent on the Landys, now yesty she came home with a new 3 grand dressage saddle so i was rubbing my together until I realised I dont got 3 grand, oh frown and grunt and walk away cursing, doesnt matter the beer is cheap at Aldi so Just get ripped and forget it, I have the Antichrist and thats all I need in life, plus beer and pizza cant go far with out them!
