Did anyone read about the new zealander working at duntroon who stole an army land rover and trailer when he left and used it for a few months, refueling at the base? Apparently defence didn't notice! In "the sunday times" titled something like "police investigate major security breach"... Haha.

On an Exmouth exercise in the late 90"s Myself and 2 mates finished a chinese meal in town and had a few beers at the local.. upon finishing we had missed the only military bus back to learmonth AF base (37km)So I stole a Air force defender from the shopping centre car park and drove us back, parked it up and went back to tent city.
Next day RAAF Police came to visit me about the stolen Defender asking me to help with the investigation as they suspected it was a soldier.. I was the duty SGT , Military Police...My job:D:D:D:D as you can imagine the investigation hit a wall...:D:D:D
