3.5 heads onto 3.9?

Will 3.5 Hi comp heads from a 1984 RR fit on to a 1993 3.9 with fuel injection.
Also, is there any way to tell if a camshaft is for a 3.5 or a 3.9 and I presume either will fit on to a 3.9.

I am under the impression that they will fit either, with the crankshaft being the difference. From what ive heard the 3.9 cam is used to 'brighten' the 3.5. however going backward is meant to be rather baaad.

I would check with a landie mechanic tho...

Yes. just use a dremel to cut small reliefs in the ports, as indicated by the gasket.
The heads arejust about identical.
