OK....I will take the plunge and put out a few details, anyone else feel free to chime in.

When : SUNDAY 5th August

Meet: 9AM in the Car Park of the Ocean View Tavern on Wanneroo road.

Leave at 9.30am sharp.

Destination: Wilbinga grove and Moore River.

Terrain: Limestone and sand, some beach if your interested and trail driving. Real beginer/ intermediate stuff, Nothing dangerous or damaging unless you make it that way.

Take; Any recovery equipment you have, a compressor and all the food and drink you would normally consume on a day out.

Familys encouraged as its a easy and interesting driving with plenty of places to stop for a run around. (Anyone got a sand board)

Channel 38 if you have a UHF.

Come one, come all.

I don't know the area super well but Ill be at the Tavern at 9.00 for day in the bush. See you there. :)

PM me if you need any more info....not that I will necessarily know the answer though:)

Sounds good to me.

One question Isn't channel 38 the transmit channel for ch 8 in duplex? Not a biggie I suppose, but just thought we might get a bit of chatter from others.

count me in:D:D:D

Dpends on whether your going North out of city or South into city as to whether its on left or right of you doesn't it.

Generally its on right hand side heading north out of city just behind the shopping cetnre car park

"Tag along" Sounds like you may end up running it :)

Hi Guys
Unfortunately I wont be joining you lot.
I lived at Woodridge(Moore River) for some time, owned my first Landy there, the beach is good but can be trecherous so be carefull.
To get to Moore River we used to cut thru Guilderton Farms(private property) where we used to work(behind the Redfield Park sub division)
Once or twice we headed for the Seabird Tavern after a day playing in the river,we came out of a track(public road) at the pine trees adjacent to the Seabird turnoff.Beware, with all this rain most of the area we went to will be under water/very muddy.
ENJOY!!!!!

Thanks Andy, Shame you can't make it but granted it is a fair distance from Williams.

Lets get back to Dwellingup or Collie on a bit of weekender sometime soon.

Hello

My car is in pieces (engine in engine shop, body in paint shop, chassis in welding shop, transmission in transmission shop).

No idea when it will be ready (if anybody is talking to JRT could you find out ?)

And I am not in Perth. When my car is going I'll come back and see if an extra 100 bhp and a shiney go faster paint job makes any difference.

Problem is I'll never know whether it is the paint or the bhp.

Jeff I was coming ..BUT as I sorta drowned my rangie last sunday on powerlines and I have all the carpets out I found some rust starting so now I have everything out to treat it and paint it and I am unable to get it right before tomorrow so I will be out.
Pity as I know some tracks and hills EAST of wanneroo rd at the river itself...never mind next time
hope you have a good day
