phil's having contractions.....??!!??
dullbird......whats the problem.....you dont have enough space to mount the relays......?
or you just not sure where to put them.......?
the higher they are the better.......keeps them a bit dryer during water crossings........
the best way to do things is to keep the lengths of cabling as short as possible......
the shorter it is.......the less resistance it will have.....the brighter and more efficiently the lights will work......
so try and keep the power leads as short as possible......i would say......mount the relays close to the battery side of the underbonnet.......

you got a pic of the kit........
i want to do mine as well soon......i know how to make up what i need......but if its already made up for me.....
it makes it a lot easier and neater.........and quicker.......
and as for the price.......i dont think i will be able to buy the components individually for less than that kit costs......

On a D1 Update 3.9 V8 With Dual Batteries and Gas, I placed mine very close to the Brake Booster.
I have the combo kit and it was easy to place them next to each other there.
If you do it, leave at least 50mm between the terminals so you don't have to kink the wire too much and so they don't foul on the opposite relays terminal.
Plenty of space and wire there.
Cheers
Dave.
