This is a good place to start, your other post is in the marketplace section, now you need to be patient, unless you are fleeing the country.

had it about 12 years only just found out it is a dormobile hence the excitement. i know 3/4 of the body is dormobile from the passanger doors back and the whole roof

the back door is different it can be locked from the outside and opened from both inside and out. it is saporting to different rare parts. it has a rectagular smiths heater with dimister that all works, but these are usualy out of the 6 cyl. it is only 4 cly wich comfortably will sit between 110/110 kmh on the high, has a new clutch 1500 miles ago and engine rebuild about 8000 miles ago

what is this day of the 4kin dormobile? Everywhere I look theres a Fender with a towel rack on the roof. Please someone buy it so I don't open yet another thread and see the 4kin ugly thing in front of me again.

You know there is a reason why the bloody things are so rare:D

for 12 years you didn't think it was 'unusual' to have a landrover with a fold up roof?

does it have standard seats? or the doormobile version?

interior fittings?

basically the more original it is, the more potential value it has, but without all the special interior bits, the value decreases quickly....

hmm does the heater work independatly of the engine running or not?

Are you taking to me?

Dobbo is spelt with a double B, Doddo's are extinct, i'll still allive and kicking.

I have to admit $19.70 is a bargain and you want to sell it for how much? Talk about a mark up

Tell you what I'll give you $20 for it, that way you'll still make a profit.:D

(PS) Please don't try the personal attacks with me, I wish not to get banned from this site.

A work mate of mine bought a carawagon ( http://www.landrovernet.com/forum/showthread.php?p=224827 ) from an enthusiast at Kepperra in Brisbane many years ago that was advertised in the Trading Post.

Where to advertise? The Trading Post would be worth a go. It depends on you location to a big extent.

Please update your profile to show your location otherwise we a guessing for an answer to your questions.

Just a quiet word of warning from a fellow member, the moderators oversee this forum to ensure we all get a fair go. Please, please put your ad in the markets section otherwise you will incur the wroth of the system. That's fair, is it not?

Hope you find a buyer who appreciates classic vehicles.

I don't know too much about them. I just edited my message to give a link for them.

The one my mate bought was a rover 6 cyl series 3 five door wagon in mint condition. I checked it out for him because I had a series 3 wagon. His was unbelievable and very low mileage.

I told my mate to drive with a side valve engine in mind. He went to the cape with a Friend of his who had a toymotor tray back. He tried to keep up with the toyo on the highway at 110kph. Well he burned out some exhaust valves and got the poos with Land Rovers after that. Silly boy I reckon.

He sold it and bought a diesel toyota tray back and started to travel around Australia. He got as far as Darwin and found a new girlfriend. He bought a house in Darwin and last time I talked to him he was as happy as a croc in mud.
