Well its raining day off everyone else is working so I could not help myself but go for a browse at Super cheap.
Decided to upgrade my home workshop to the 21st Century and bought a combo kit, 2.5HP / 40L Air Compressor and combo air tool kit. Bargain. :D
The home workshop is just about finished just a few more hand tools like extra vise-grips and odds and ends and a few more air tool accessorys.
Trolly Jack and stands will be my next big buy over the next few months.

your very next purcahse should be a set of single hex impact rated sockets..... And a better air hose.
The first time you round off a nut/bolt using a bihex socket with the rattle gun on undo you'll understand why.....
Nice set of additions tho. The tools in those starter kits are pretty good, my field rattler is from one of those very same kits bought for me by my wife for my birthday some 8 years ago now. Its still going and its been used everywhere. The hoses, oilers and sockets arent worth spit tho.

That workshop is far too neat! Puts mine to shame. I might have to get stuck in and get it tidied up.

Certainly was not always that clean, To fit the new purchase in I had to do a 1 hour reorganize and clean.
I have a lot more room now.

When you get a chance, I'd be very interested to know if that compressor would run a die grinder and/or small spray gun.

I have the same size compressor and use a die grinder for light work and it goes fairly well. The grinder uses a lot of air and the comp cuts in/out frequently but apart from that it goes well. Haven't used it with paint as yet but it should be good for small quantities.

It would take a lot more than an hour to get mine looking ANYTHING like that!

You got some good gear there.

A small compressor like that won't run a die grinder continuously. You will have a lot of "catch up" time to examine your work whilst waiting for the tank to refill. Die grinders use prodiguous quantities of air. Remember, in compressed air and hydraulics, flow = speed, pressure = force or power. Die grinders run at very high speeds. I have the largest compressor that will run on 240 volts. It requires a 15 amp outlet, and it won't keep up with my die grinders.

HA HA, it all works now, the 3/8" Ratchet Wrench was actually ratchet from the start and I had to take it back today for a replacement. Goodie because I received the upgraded one with twin ratchet pawl's and 3 torque settings all in all a stronger Ratchet.
I actually need something to break so I have something to do, better get out on a few trips :).

Or sell the Disco  and buy an old dunga, you'll have plenty to fix then and the tools will get a workout :twisted::twisted::twisted:

I hear you Trav. If I wasnt trying to buy in to a business at the moment I probably would put some of the money to an old Rangie to go mad in.
The air compressor has already nearly paid for it self blowing out the crap from my Generator carbie and fuel system instead of sending it out to get fixed. Its great for all types of uses.
Just need to find a use for it in the bed room and it would be the perfect tool. :D;)
