Gday All
Bought this for my eldest boy about 6 months ago. Its been a slow process so far but its getting there. So far stripped down but not chassis. I am of course jumping from 1 area to another. Putting dual Batteries under the rear seats using a Cole-Hearsy system. Extended the roll cage in the rear. Putting retractable seat belts in both front and rear. The seats in the rear are SAAS racing type seats which are hinged so we can get to the batteries. front seats are out of a mitsubushi magna, tracks underneath are an easy conversion to the original seat rails. Covering roll cage with insulation. Covering insulation with vinyl so it looks neat and tidy. I am having to rewire dash. We are also in the process of recovering the dash board and glove box panel with vinyl. motor is in pieces as is the gear box.
Will update again soon.
Thanks
Bazz

Gday Guys
A few more photos. Finally got bash plate bent up today. As I said I jump from 1 project to the other. picked up checker plate to line doors which will be the next small project. Making up jack stands out of scaffold screw jacks when completed I will post pic's, cheap solid option.Got to replace all the brakes and wheel cylinders, front 2 are leaking so bugger it do all at once so not dicking around later. The SAAS seats are pretty tall and not much head room looking at the roll cage, once roof on it is about 4" clearance. note the hinged seats this was so I could get access to the batteries. Seat belts still arent bolted but that will be soon.
thanks

Gday Guys
Small update, Doors are off getting lined with 1.2mm checker plate, I purchased the ali for $120 a sheet and it is going to cost around $150 to get it rolled to the shape of the inner doors. Motor back together and pic's showing my 2 younger boy(Jack and James) putting it back in (the oldest boy Rob broke both bones in his left forearm at the skate park so no help for a while). Back seats are in and retrctable seat belts are working fine. Front seat belts a bit of a hassle at this stage, I really dont want to put originals back in if I have to oh well. With Xmas and a couple of cyclone scares it has been pretty hard to get out and do something also will power has not been that strong lately. Trying to finish off dash recovering but some glues just dont work properly. I bought a rolling S2a LWB for parts ($100) has holden red motor and conversion, FWB's, sub tanks reasonable dash and other bits and pieces.
Anyway more to come soon :twobeers: Cheers
Thanks
Bazz
