Are you wanting to copy or make your own?

Do you have a DVD dual layer (DL) burner - most are these days and it would have the software with it. Most earlier DVD burners will not burn a DL disk.

there is one pedro but the name escapes me, found it the other week looking for something that ran on a PE disk.
activeiso (http://www.ntfs.com/iso_burner_free.htm) i think was the name, you need something to create the iso file with (http://download.videohelp.com/r0lZ/pgcedit/) .

DVD shrink doesnt have a burning program in it, it uses Nero or other program to do the recording.

yes Gary, its a Benq 1625 Lightscribe.
pgcedit looks wonderfull,,
but is all about DVD files, movies etc,
all I want to do is burn 8gb (yes its one folder) of
normal data onto a DL DVD.
I cant see where pgcedit will do that,,

you just need to build an iso file..
the package above can do it but is a little complex, this package below can do it as well, may be easier for you to cope with.

You might be able to find older versions of B-Gold or Nero Express on the web if you do a google - they will both burn dual layer. You might have to buy the latest versions but sometimes older versions are availaable for free.
I think my Windows XP operating system has a burning function but I have never used it and do not know if it covers DVDs or DL DVDs.
Who knows maybe you OS has a function built into it.

thanks Inc;)
but---
believe it or not---
I get a .NET Framework error
an unhandled exception has occurred,
it gives me the option of continueing, which I have tried, but cannot get the program to function.
I have .NET, and its up to date as at July???
