View Full Version : Drooling at Land rover today
twitchy

After we missed the flight today we dropped into the Land rover dealer in the valley (brissy) & drooled over the D3 for a while, man they are nice. Speaking of things that would make a jelly fish hard, the Range rover sport isn't half bad either.................. hmmm Wish list I think.

18's :eek::eek:
Are you sure he just hasn't fitted the Supercharged badge ??
(18" wheels aren't supposed to fit cars with Brembo brakes)

I had to wait for my wife in Hobart on Monday. Coincidentally, outside the shop was a black RR Sport.
The more I looked at, the more I lost interest. I thought I'd like one but now I'm not so sure. My wife doesn't like the look of them.
I think prefer the L322.
I approve all the registrations for the RangeRover.net forum. Interestingly, most registrations come from (mainly USA) owners of the new RR Sport - many supercharged.

Hi twitchy, go with the D3.
I looked at the Sports while thinking about getting the D3 and the D3 is just that much better in so many way and costs loads less.
But either way you go, NO NOT buy from the mob where you were looking.
I bought an LR from them and so have a number of others on this site and most did not have very good dealings with them.
Cheers.

Yes, there is - except my bank balance won't allow for it. Neither does my income which is about $15K down on last year. :(

Have you been slacking ron?
No. I've been getting rostered for day work, rostered off weekends, no public holidays, and few higher duties. (Oh, and two months leave at base rates. :) )

I might have to apply for a job where Dobbo works - the hourly rate is a lot more than I'm getting.
Nahh! I don't want to work with other people. I'm happy working by myself.

you trying to steal my overtime?
Personaly I'd prefer a $1000 RRC on Simex's, I can see more value in the fun/money ratio.

I see in the latest Job Opportunities at work that they have advertised positions at your location. A worry is the bullying (and deliberate attempts to get people learning the job into trouble) that goes on there.
Re the $1000 RRC, yes, you are right. If I had a new D3 I'd always be worried about damaging it -as I am with the P38A. Not only that, the bits that break cost considerably more and, in some cases, are not repairable at home or on the track.
