Dad found it in a padock in Tallangata (spelling) on the Mitta Mitta of the Hume Weir. The rear right wheel was removed and a pully system devised to run a saw. the front guards were bent in from small trees growing up through the bumper. We brought it home around 1989-90. It was on full rego until I got posted to Wagga Wagga as rego is steep here in N.S.W. She got repainted in 1994-95 and we found a PTO to go with her, ended up with 3 or so PTO's looking for that bit between the tranny and PTO shaft. Replaced the tractor treads with bar treads. Stumbled apon 5 1948 split rims, appranty brit mill spec 'dunno', Dad use to it drive to and from work. Handed over to me in 2004 with a tear in his eye.

Hi there
Very nice indeed - it a credit to its owner "top effort"
Regarding the capstan winch - I have been told theres a difference between series I & series 2 etc.
I have been told the winch plate "steel base" on a series one mounts parallel to the front of the bumper bar and series II's etc mount with a 10-20mm gap? - is some one able to clarify this?
