I spent an hour this morning with a salesman from Titan working out where our new SHED is going! The ultimate father's day present!
Should be up by the end of November. :D:D It will happen with pics!

Got heaps of new clothes too (think they are trying to tell me something) Just means lots of old shirts become rags for the NEW SHED!!!!

I did pretty well. Apart from the obligatory artwork from the kids, I scored a couple of DVD's. 'The Best of Top Gear ser.1 & 2" and "Clarkson - The Good The Bad & The Ugly". Its typical Clarkson; thrashing fast cars, destroying things, blowing up a Harley, filling a Jag with water....

Fathers Day?
Up at 6.30, took NM for a drive in Leon to the local markets, got home and made her a pot of tea. Then cooked her breakfast!!!!:o Nothing sexist about our household:D

Oh! My daughter gave me another model Land Rover the other day as well.

Breakfast in bed, home made cards, a book and some smellies....plus offer of going out for lunch, but I want to get the wiring on the Fender finished! Kids are only 7 & 9 though, so can't expect the wife to buy me too much! ;-)

I did OK: a card from my 3yo, Explore Australia book and will get myself a bit of gym equipment...(good excuse - father's day)... spending the weekend with the in-laws and finishing Environmental Law essay.

Got woken up by kids. Given a car cleaning kit (Guess the argument that Defender's are afraid of being clean isn't accepted anymore). Was also given some cards.
We then took a drive to burrenjuck to look and some old machines and vehicles and a BBQ.
Back home. The lights stayed on so I must have mounted them correctly.:)

Because of the sheer size of it and the fact I haven't got two days off too clean it sounds like a good excuse to me.

Woken up at 1am and 6am by a very excited 7 month old who could'nt wait for me to open my presents'.

Very special handmade cards', woollen Scotsman (possibly intended as a driving companion), books', and a framed picture of my above mentioned son driving a London bus.

Went into the city where the guy selling the big issue was so wrapped we bought one that he told us all about the S.T.D he caught.

Also had pie, coffee, and cake at David Jones. Very nice

Thanks for asking, glad to share.

Have a look at the airport HERE. (http://store.apple.com/133-622/WebObjects/australiastore.woa/wa/RSLID'mco=6C04E0B8&nplm=M9470X/A)

Basically if you have Itunes (pc or mac) you can beam your music to this gadget. It then sends it to your amplifier with an optic or a rca style leads and plugs.

If you have all your music in itunes this is the go. :)

I also got an afternoon of champagne flying in and indian for tea. Dads day is great. :)

Sadly at work, but the kids snuck a couple of pressies into my bag. A set of fluffy jim beam dice (have not had a set of these since I was 18, lol), some chockies, some Holden socks and a best dad mug. All good stuff picked by the kids.
When I get home I get my 1 : 1/18 model of the Effigy.

Not really. I preferred Titan's construction. I was just being courteous and giving them the opportunity to re-quote.

I hope you had a great day today!

Flew over to Perth on Thursday with No. 1 son - we spent four days with No. 3 son - and came home today. Great time - but missed No. 2 son who lives in Canada - I think he was really homesick today when he phoned me for Father's Day.

Always have and always will look forward to Father's Day.:D:D

G'day Numpty's Missus :)

Yup! Steve is one interesting and knowledgeable person, he now trains and judges world wide Drug,Explosive, & Quarantine Dogs;) including the new ones for the DPI in Tasmania for FOX detection, showed us video footage of judging drug detection dogs in Europe, on railway carriages, in Czech Republic, with Police,Country authorities, and Army teams competing from Germany,Poland,Czech Republic,Slovenia,Romania,Austria, it was fasinating, and the top drug dog in detections is a little black mini poodle, with most competitors being German or Belgium Shepherds, with some Labradors, top stuff with all competitor members armed:eek: you don't mess with these guys.

cheers
