I was lucky enough to receive a Apple airport with Airtunes for fathers day. After 5 minutes of setting up I can now go into itunes on my laptop and my music comes pumping out of my big stereo/amp. This is **really** cool.

And the hardest part was finding the optical cable to go to the amp.

You can read about the airport here. (http://store.apple.com/133-622/WebObjects/australiastore.woa/wa/RSLID'mco=6C04E0B8&nplm=M9470X/A)

I can't speak more highly about this product.

Damn.. just found out that the bloody thing also boosts the network signal :o I have a dlink wireless router, and parts of the house (and it's a small house) were marginal. Now I've found I can walk two houses up the street, and one down and get our signal. Before you had to be in the next door neighbours driveway to get our signal, whereas now anywhere on the road within 100m and you could get the network.:eek: Lucky we run security on it :o

Happy Father's Day indeed.

I've been a satisfied Airtunes user for the last year. Ever since the CD player went kaput.

Also use the thing as a USB printer hub with reasonable success.
