I was fixing my DH mountain bike tonight (which has been sitting it the shed for 2months) when something didnt look right.
Holy Cr@p Ive bent the handle bars:o. The left side of the Handle bars is bent 15degrees down towards the floor.
Thats one more piece of broken equipment this season:(

Did you accidentally run over it? :o
Numpty rested his bike up against the bull bar of of Stage 1 and forgot it was there. Reversed out, dragging the bike. Drove forward again over the bike....oops :o bent wheel amongst other damage :o He wasn't impressed with himself :D
No In a race I rode of a 4m vertical drop and bend the crank:eek: I think thats when I did this:D

My cousin lent his bike against the front of a prime mover as he knew he would be leaving before it moved. Problem was they were hitching the trailer and it got run over :(
He claimed it on his home insurance though and apart from the hassle he did well from the deal.

That'll do it! :o
It's rather unsettling reading about that, I did the first bit of mechanical fixing on my bike for ages tonight (the gearchange cable lost tension), and had just started planning a complete overhaul when I read this :(
Oh - and I regularly park my bike in front of the bullbar of the SIII! :)

My worst one was at thredbo. Going down a firetrail at 50km/h with no arm gaurds on, hit a water bar and went straight over the top:eek: Cracked a helmet open on the handlebars and slid 100m on the gravel before coming to a stop.:imwithstupid:

Well it does look nice....but still..... you have a push bike that cost more than my Range Rover, and, every time you take it off road it breaks down.
Is it a Land Rover?? :D

Ive got to say it....
Your nuts, Ive seen these guys in action and I was cringeing the whole time, not one bloke made it down the hill that was just gravel and huge rocks on buller and they were traveling at 60 or more KMH.
NUTs
Good luck to you though, you need what ever you can get lol
I couldnt justify a deadly being worth as much as all the accesories on the Disco and then the disco without the accessories.
