Went up to Scone yesterday to visit a relative, came back this afternoon, pretty good run, not too much traffic getting out of Sydney for our long weekend.

Anyway, I was coming down the hill into Singleton (lovely hill - cruise down in 5th and you're doing the 60 limit when you hit the bottom), when I picked up a blinged-out hummer h2 on my tail, so I go to the left lane at the lights, he takes the right one, and come to the stop. Then it's all fun as I plant the right foot on green & do the drag at the lights:angel:... he plays catch-up and then decides to go over the limit to get in front of that b***dy landrover before the bridge!! Good ol' 'fender held on though :D

Sadly no pics :oops2:
since I was doing the driving and my camera was in someone else's purse (I think )when said person was too busy looking at the bling!

Rest of the run was good (apart from idiots in the rain, but you expect that anyway) - waved to Hartas' SIII FFR just out of Cessnock. It was the only wave on the trip back! :spudnikwaving:

(note to self: must see about visiting Dinty & the collection next time we go through).

Had a funny look from a man in a D2 V8 on the F3 heading back into Sydney, the missus was driving, and his expression as they went past was along the lines of "that's what I'd really like". What got me was the length of the look - if he turned his head any further I'm sure it would have snapped his neck :o :)

And from just an (almost) stock 'fender with occasional Ps and PermaGrin :D:D
