too much money for a heavily modded v8... if it was a 4bd1 it might be worth that amount to the right buyer... but that interior... oo-er... has it got engineering for the rear disk conversion? me thinks not...

Why would you bother engineering a bolt in swap, its just a later housing;)

I could have a look at it for you as it is not far from me however I am no expert on counties or defenders. Looks like someone had a spare Rangie interior lying around and wanted to use it. I am busy tonight but might be able to find some time in the next couple of days or Saturday.

thanks ian that'd be greatly appreciated, i've already spoken to the owner, his name is lee gamble - is a member of the black spur off road club and he lives in the eastern suburbs and works in the northern. i've got to go to work now myself but i'll pm you later.

My opinion, too much for a petrol engined County by about $4000 if it is a good one. A good Isuzu should fetch that much or more.

;) Remember Jase $9500 is only a lot of money for people who don't have it spare;)
Car looks loved enough to have a lot of mods done and if you bought a petrol County for $5-6000 it would cost another 4 or 5 to get a newer engine and system in..So go for it if its Ok.
I'm sure you can Get RACV or similar to do a full inspection for you for $200 or so and it will give a detailed report.:)
