And you wonder why I don't frequent other fora:
How do you know it was Blatant stupidity..(well apart from the fact anyone who owns a disco is predisposed to blatant stupidity)
I am sure the guy owns it feels that this is rewarding

Yes,
they love to bag anything Rover on OuterlLimits etc. I figure they are all just really uninformed, stupid or really jealous of those who drive a superior vehicle.

Here here the honorable member Ron has agood point.
I have traveled up that beach hundreds of times ( used to work for SEQEB ) and never saw a bogged landrover.
however I have seen more rolled bogged sunk toyotas, datsuns, suzukis etc than I care to remember.
Watched from a distance once a landcruiser hook a snatch strap to a ally bull bar on a Siera and take off the bull bar ended up embeded in the rear door of the cruiser.
They ignored my advice 5 mins earlier.:)

It's good that AULRO allows guests, not like that other one!

I just had to share these priceless piccies with you all. My brother and his mates came across this just after coming back over from Indian Head.
These guys had decided to wash Mum's brand new car in the lovely, flowing, freshwater creek. Trouble was, the car tightened up the channel and the sand was washed away from underneath in no time at all.
This is when it suddenly got serious. The motor was still running and of course, its a turbo... Well, it stopped running shortly after and then they faced the ignominy of having to break the back window because the central locking kicked in 30 seconds after the motor stopped. Poor buggers.
Well, my bro' and friends eventually managed to yank them out and give them a tow back. His mum was 'never going to know'. I wonder how much that cost?

I actually like Outers but I don't use it nearly as much as I used to now I come here for Landy stuff.
I don't know which back window they broke though. Can't see any broken ones.

Are you talking from experience or just speaking crap???
Outerlimits is a great source of info, especially if you have highly modified vehicles. I will admit I never go anywhere else on the site other than the "Rover" section but it is well worthwhile.

Excuse me but I do speak crap!!!!! I don't know what's on the site, that's why I was asking if it was worth it. I am not keen to sign up for everything that comes along. Others might, but I don't.
I do not drive a highly modified vehicle and I don't seem to have the associated mechanical issues that those who modify their vehicles beyond what they were designed to do experience.
Please put your manners back in like Tom Cruise told some reporter .

Maybe Land Rover owners do not agree with the 'throw away community' of 4x4 owners.
It could be that the primitive territorial side of humanity lives here :D.
