[Disco Steve]

Hi everyone, as some of you know I race Downhill mountain bikes at a serious level. I race in the natinal circut and have competed overseas.
I am planning to race in the crankworks freeride competion in Whistler in July next year. but after some bad luck with the Disco, having surgery on my knee and breaking 4 bikes things are not looking good.
My sponsors are willing to pay for the flights and half the accomidation next year. The catch is I have to place in 2 of the races later this year, now raceing is not easy with no bike. Giant are willing to give me "cheap" parts and frame, but not being able to work at the moment means no money coming in.
Can anyone help with donations or accomidation near Mt Buller, Therdbo or Lithgow?

After talking to a few people today, a few more sponsors have agreed.
Giant Bikes- will give me a bike cheap 2k
Red Bull Energy drink- will pay for race entry at major events
El Wazza Industries- have supplied me with race kit
Oakley- free goggles/sunnies
Jax tyres- suplly me with tyres for bike/ Disco
One of the lodges at Thredbo and Mt Buller- Accomidtion for $5 a night during summer.


Now its just try and get the enital money for the bike. and if any one around lithgow or mt buller.

Ask Ace about accommodation around Lithgow. He might be able to find you a spot to camp.
