Why no-go? Do you think the one-side-to-the-other effect is too much like a Defender dash? ;)
For the full Defender effect, perhaps the screen could show old coke cans, WD40, bolts, loose coins etc?

The options list doesnt have the special squeegee
needed to wipe the screen after hosing the car out,,

that's the way to make the froads safer, put even more **** on the dashbnoard to distract you. as if it isn't bad enough having to watch your speedo every second to make sure you are not 1km/h over the speed limit so you don't get speed-camera-ed.
as far as switches go, you need lights, wipers and volume. guages= speedo, tacho (inside the car, not bonnet mounted), temp, fuel and oil pressure, the rest is useless bling

That's ruddy awful! How could anyone design something as gross as that.
Maybe it'll appeal to the boy racers.

There ain't ever been anything wrong with a sleek dash... until now!!!
How would it look with a layer of dust on it - defender joke - but then the dust would turn into mud in winter and end up on ya feet!

The Defender speedo is unaccurate and the temp gauge doesn't move until after the coolant is all gone and the head warped so what are you looking at them for?

Very reminisant of the first VTIR Prelude
I'm not an old fart so I like it.
I'd imagine the car will be a throw away when the dash goes.
