As some of you know i've been chasing up 101 information of late, and I thought i'd put some concerted effort into tracking down what 101's are known about the place.

So if you know of somebody with a 101, or a mate of a mate, or have one in your land rover or 4wd club, would you be able to chase down some details for me??

1) the vehicles chassis number
2) model (General Service, ambulance or Radio body)
3) If it served in australia or not (Australia only had general service vehicles, number unknown at the momnet, but between 32 and 58)
4) owners name (not nexxessary).

Any help is appreciated, and photos if possible would be excellent.

Stu (Stusgonesailing) has one;) imported from the British Army in Borneo..

Half of the Aussie army ones have custom racks in the back for Rapier missiles. Shouldnt be too hard to spot those ones and have extended rear bumpers for resupply at nite.

There was a GS 101" in Fore Street Canterbury (Sydney) a couple of clicks from where I live. Do you have that one in your listing and if not I could investigate if you like?

Do you have Phil Carkagis' 101 on the register?

Phil used to be Pres of the LROC Sydney and is, I think, a member of this forum although I haven't seen him here for a long time. I can contact him as I know his number and email address.

Diana, I don't knowingly have the details on that one, I'd appreciate it if you get a chance to check it out.

Ron, I don't believe that I have Phil's either, but I do have some vehicles still listed under previous owners.

Don't suppose either of you know if they are australian units or not?? I suppose the chassis numbers should give us a good indication anyway.
